Each week of the NFL season, Yardbarker will be monitoring players who have suffered notable injuries.
From a Los Angeles Chargers running back to a San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman, here are five players we're tracking after Week 3:
Los Angeles Chargers RB Najee Harris
Harris fell before Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert could hand the ball off to the RB on a play in the second quarter of a home game against the Denver Broncos. He was then carted off the field.
Following the 23-20 Chargers win, head coach Jim Harbaugh confirmed the RB suffered a non-contact Achilles injury. He's still undergoing imaging, but the prognosis doesn't sound good for the RB, who finished with 28 yards on six carries against Denver.
Achilles tears are season-ending and take a year to recover
