BRYANT, Ark. — We've all heard the phrase the sky is the limit, but two Bryant students are proving that it actually could be further than that.

A couple of seniors are making history in the Bryant School District and reaching their goals thousands of feet up in the air.

"I was like, shaking in my seat," Bryant senior JROTC Cadet Kennedy Torres said.

That's Bryant Senior Kennedy Torres describing the moment she found out she got a scholarship from the Air Force Flight Academy.

"It's about a $27,000 scholarship, and out of the 1200 applicants, only about 194 were selected," Torres said.

Marian Budu and Kennedy Torres are the first students in the Bryant School District to earn this scholarship and their private pilot's license.
