COLUMBUS, Ohio — A former running back for the Ohio State Buckeyes is being held in jail after he was accused of assaulting a person at a gas station.

Franklin Municipal Court Records show Jordan L. Hall is charged with one count of felonious assault, a second-degree felony. Hall is scheduled to be arraigned Monday morning.

The Columbus Dispatch reports Hall is accused of assaulting the victim at a Speedway gas station on the city’s Northwest Side on Sept. 20. The victim was “critically injured,” The Dispatch reports.

WCMH Channel 4 reports surveillance video shows Hall dragging the male victim from the rear passenger seat of a vehicle and punching the man in the face. Hall reportedly hit the victim two more times before leaving in the vehicle.
