KUNA, Idaho — A 60-year-old motorcyclist died Sunday afternoon after his bike veered off the road and crashed near a popular bird-watching area near Kuna.

According to the Ada County Sheriff's Office, the fatal crash happened around 3:38 p.m. on East Kuna Mora Road near Blacks Creek Road, close to the Black's Creek Bird Reserve. The man was riding a 2019 Harley Davidson headed east when the motorcycle drifted onto the right shoulder and crashed.

The office said the rider was alone on the motorcycle and died from his injuries at the crash site. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.

The Ada County Coroner's Office stated it will release the victim's name once family members have been notified.
