NEVADA, Iowa —

Videos featuring a compilation of funny cats made their way to the big screen in Nevada on Saturday and helped raise money to support a local animal shelter.

Camelot Theater in Nevada showed "CatVideoFest 2025" on Saturday afternoon.

"CatVideoFest 2025" was presented by Oscilloscope Laboratories. It showed a compilation of recent videos featuring cats. "CatVideoFest 2025" began screening in theaters across the country in August.

At the Camelot Theater, which is a community-owned theater that's operated by volunteers, there were two showings of CatVideoFest.

Also at the theater were fun activities for all ages and even adoptable kittens to play with.

Proceeds from the screening went toward supporting the Story County Animal Shelter.
