Jon Bon Jovi has expressed his delight over becoming a grandfather for the first time.

Last month, the Bon Jovi frontman's son, Jake Bongiovi, and his wife, actress Millie Bobby Brown, announced they had adopted a baby girl.

In a preview of an interview for the Dumb Blonde Podcast posted on Sunday, host Bunnie Xo asked Jon what it's like being a grandparent.

"It's crazy, but great. Wonderful," he replied. "They adopted a girl, we met the baby, obviously, and immediately that becomes your grandchild, you know what I mean? Your baby."

Jon went on to admit he's always asking Jake and Millie for updates on the infant.

"It's beautiful. I want to see pictures, like, every other day," the 63-year-old smiled. "I'm that pain in the butt guy already, and, yeah, it's cool."

Elsewhere in the teaser clip, Jon recalled how he and his wife, Dorothea Hurley, gave Jake and the Stranger Things star their "blessing" to wed even though they were young at the time.

"We blessed it because we get it, you know?" he shared. "They're sorta mature beyond their years. She comes from a family where her parents are still together and they married very young. (Millie) and Jake fell in love and we just thought, 'OK, we'll support this.' And it's working out."

Jake, 23, and Millie, 21, got engaged in April 2023 and were married in a private ceremony a year later, before hosting a larger event in Tuscany, Italy in September 2024.
