STUDIO CITY, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Los Angeles police went to great lengths to arrest a burglary suspect in Studio City on Sunday.

Officers first spotted the suspect trying to break into a home in the 11100 block of Landale Street after an earlier break-in was reported, at about 4:30 p.m., the Los Angeles Police Department said. But the suspect managed to slip away.

After requesting a K9 unit and searching for several hours, they found him again, this time on a rooftop in Studio City. Officers used everything they could think of to get the suspect to come down, including a lemon picker and a garden hose.

Eventually, they climbed up after him and managed to take him into custody.
