Increased Delaware DMV fees to take effect Oct 1

Delawareans, start your engines – and ready your wallets.

Residents have roughly one week left until several new and updated fees under the state Division of Motor Vehicles go into effect on Oct. 1.

From name changes to alternative fuel vehicle registration, from ID duplicates to driver’s license renewals, these fees were designed to help provide the state Department of Transportation roughly $107 million “ in additional revenue ” every year.
