BERLIN — Pop singer Harry Styles more than held his own Sunday in the Berlin Marathon, finishing the race in under three hours.

People reports Styles crossed the line in the 26.2-mile race in 2:59:13, breaking the coveted three-hour mark. Styles, 31, reportedly ran under the pseudonym Sted Sarandos.

About 55,000 runners participated in the race. Styles maintained an even pace, completing the first half in 1:29:08 and the second half in 1:30:06, People reports.

Richard Whitehead, a two-time gold medal winner over 200 meters at the Paralympic Games, shared a photo on social media of him and Styles after they finished the race.

Styles began his music career as a member of the boy band One Direction. He released his first solo album in 2017 and has gone on to win three Grammys.
