Iredell-Statesville Schools announced Jerrica Scott, assistant principal at Hanes Magnet School in Winston-Salem, has been named the principal at Troutman Middle School. Derrick Wishon, assistant principal at South Iredell High School, has been named the principal at North Iredell High School.

The Iredell-Statesville Board of Education approved a recommendation to name Jerrica Scott as the new principal of Troutman Middle School. Mrs. Scott currently serves as the assistant principal at Hanes Magnet School in Winston-Salem. Prior to her administrative role, she worked for 10 years at several schools in Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools (WSFCS), teaching in grades fifth through eighth.
