POLAND Two people were hospitalized with injuries after a motorcycle crash Sunday morning on Struthers Road, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
A motorcycle carrying a driver and a passenger was traveling southbound on Struthers Road, south of Route 224, around 11:15 a.m. when it veered too close to the edge of the road, lost control, and went into a ravine, the patrol said.
The driver was taken to a hospital with critical injuries. The passenger was thrown from the motorcycle into a nearby creek and was also transported to a hospital with less serious injuries. The names of the victims have not been released.
The patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
