WAYNE — Officials in Passaic County have renewed a lease with the owner of Farms View Roadstand, guaranteeing that the family business on Black Oak Ridge Road will endure for at least five more years.
Given its track record, the circa-1894 farm will likely hang around longer than that.
Todd Kuehm, its fourth-generation owner, said the business is as durable as ever. He said he wakes up before dawn each day, and his progeny — son Travis and grandson Travis Jr. — are prepared to step in when the time comes.

“I’m as hard into this as you can be,” said Kuehm, 61, who also owns a farm in the Towaco section of Montville. “I’m not ready to go out of it yet.”
