Alex O'Keefe, the award-winning writer known for his work on FX's hit show, The Bear, said in an Instagram post that he was pulled off an MTA train by police after a white woman complained about the way he was sitting.
O'Keefe, a Black man, shared a video of his arrest and wrote in an accompanying post: "I was arrested on the MTA train to Connecticut today, pulled off, handcuffed, and detained. An old white woman got on the train and immediately pointed at me and told me to correct how I was sitting. I refused, so she went to the conductor and complained. The conductor called the police and stopped the train."
His Instagram post includes four slides, two of which are videos and two of which are pictures of the people on the train. A separate video about the incident has been uploaded
