QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – A man was stabbed twice as he was riding a No. 7 subway train in Queens late Sunday night, according to the NYPD.
Police said it happened near 111th Street and Roosevelt Avenue around 11:40 p.m. A 27-year-old man was stabbed in the neck and back, according to authorities.
Police said the victim was taken to a local hospital, where he’s expected to survive.
Sources said a man last seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, white shoes and a black baseball cap fled by getting off the train at the Main Street Station.
