The Coldwater Canyon Estate, Designed by William S. Beckett, Includes Sweeping Views

Perched high above Coldwater Canyon, a Beverly Hills estate once owned by Oscar-winning actor Charlton Heston has returned to the market with an asking price of $10.5 million.

The midcentury modern residence was originally built for Heston in 1959 by renowned architect William S. Beckett, at a time when the actor’s career was soaring following starring roles in The Ten Commandments and Ben-Hur . Heston lived in the property for nearly five decades, remaining there until his death in 2008 at the age of 84.
