Cassie Campbell says widespread rain is moving across the Heartland through the morning, and then it will become more scattered during the afternoon.
A few isolated stronger storms are possible this afternoon, with gusty winds as the main concern.
Scattered rain chances remain for Tuesday and Wednesday. Some areas could receive close to 3 inches of rainfall by the middle of the week.
This week’s rain chances should help provide drought relief.
