PAULDING COUNTY, Ga. — Three people escaped a house fire late Sunday night in Paulding County, officials said.
The fire happened on Mill Creek Road in Hiram. One of the people who made it out of the home was treated on scene.
No cause is yet known.
A statement from Paulding Fire Capt. Steve Mapes said: "We responded with a full alarm which is 3 Engines, a Squad, a ladder Truck, 2 Battalions, and ALS Rescue and Metro EMS. 3 adults were in the home and escaped prior to our arrival. One was treated by Metro on the scene and released. No cause has been released yet."
