BOULDER, Colo. — Colorado unveiled its new mascot, Ralphie VII, before its home matchup with the University of Wyoming on Saturday night.

The 1-year-old bison may have outperformed the Cowboys during the Buffs' 37-20 win in Boulder, Colorado.

The Cowboys (2-2 overall) dug themselves a 28-3 hole early in the third quarter. While they got back within 10 with 4 minutes, 32 seconds left to play, the deficit proved too much to overcome.

UW's offense was lackluster for most of the night, with sophomore quarterback Kaden Anderson finishing just 11-of-25 (44%) for 176 yards. He added two passing touchdowns.

The Buffs outgained the Cowboys 497-347 in total yardage, and they held UW to a 5-of-13 mark on third down. Colorado gashed the Cowboys for 13 explosive plays on offense, with seven passes
