MICHIGAN CITY — Marquette Catholic seems to have found its groove.

After hiring Michigan City legend Ashley Kohler over the offseason and graduating several stars, things were bound to look different this season.

It's safe to say things look — and feel — different for the Blazers this year.

Off the court, the team has spent more time together than it ever has before. This was by Kohler's design. Kohler, who played collegiately at Illinois, said that bonding activities boosted her experience playing college volleyball.

So, she has taken the team to escape rooms, team dinners, bowling and other activities, all with the aim of creating an enjoyable environment for the Blazers team.
