CHARLIE KIRK was honored by the Cleveland Browns ahead of their NFL showdown with the Green Bay Packers.

The organization observed a moment of silence following Kirk's assassination on September 10.

Kirk, 31, was laid to rest at a memorial service in Arizona on Sunday.

President Donald Trump hailed the activist as a "great American hero" as NFL teams across the league paid tribute.

The Browns displayed a large picture of Kirk and his family on the jumbrotron ahead of Sunday's game at Huntington Bank Field.

It followed similar tributes by the Bills, Packers, Jets, Cowboys, Dolphins, Saints, Chiefs, Steelers, Titans and Cardinals.

"Very classy. I appreciate that," wrote one fan on X in response.
