DAYYTON, Ohio (WDTN) -- Sidney City Schools will be closed Monday, Sept. 22 after report of a threat.
The schools are closed after a potential threat was identified through consultation with law enforcement.
"The district is working closely with authorities to investigate the situation thoroughly and ensure the safety of students and staff," the district said in an announcement on its homepage.
Upper Valley Career Center (UVCC) students can report to UVCC as planned the district said.
With the closures, the district will not provide transportation. Upper Valley Career Center remains open today, but if students don't have a ride, their absence will be excused. Students should call ahead of time to report their absence.
