GRAND FORKS – Neuroscientist and best-selling author Dr. Daniel Levitin will present a talk, “Music As Medicine,” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 23, at UND’s Hughes Fine Arts Center.
Free and open to all, the lecture is meant to celebrate the resumption of the music therapy program after a 10-year pause, according to the event announcement.
Levitin, a world-renowned neuroscientist and musician, is author of several New York Times best-sellers, including “This Is Your Brain on Music,” “The World in Six Songs,” “The Organized Brain” and “Successful Aging.”
