JOHNSON COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - The W.R. Castle Fire-Rescue, along with the Flat Gap Volunteer Fire Department, the Red Bush Volunteer Fire Department, and the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, responded to a single-vehicle crash on Sept. 20.
The driver crashed into an embankment off Route 1092.
Emergency crews removed the driver from the vehicle and placed him in a rescue basket.
They then used ropes to move him out of the embankment.
He was taken to the Highlands ARH with serious injuries.
