PERRY COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - The Perry County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ross Hurt, 35, on Sept. 17 for several child-related charges.

It began when the Perry County Sheriff’s Office received a call from an associate with KY Predo Pursuit.

The organization provided the sheriff’s office with conversations Hurt was having with Predo Pursuits’ decoy, posing as a 14-year-old girl.

The texts supposedly sent were sexual in nature and included explicit images and videos.

Hurt also asked for inappropriate photographs.

Hurt attempted to meet the girl in Wabaco on Sept. 20, where he was arrested on site.

Hurt was arrested and charged with:

42 counts of Unlawful use of electronic means originating or received within the

Commonwealth to induce a minor to engage in sexual or other prohibited activ
