Yakov Trenin scored the winner in overtime as the Minnesota Wild beat the Winnipeg Jets 3-2 at the Canada Life Centre on Sunday afternoon. Trenin, who scored twice for the Wild, swiped at a bouncing puck in the slot and knocked it over the left arm of Jets goalie Isaac Poulter at 3:59 of the extra period in the pre-season opener for both teams.
