FOXBOROUGH, Ma. -- The Pittsburgh Steelers made a notable change to their linebacker rotation in their 21-14 win over the New England Patriots . Linebacker Cole Holcomb outsnapped Payton Wilson, though it was barely.

However, Wilson had up to 76 percent of snaps in previous games, but was down a season-low 47 percent of snaps against the Patriots. Meanwhile, Holcomb took 50 percent of the snaps while green dot linebacker Patrick Queen played 100 percent of the snaps.

On the team’s first defensive drive, Holcomb came in and forced a fumble against Rhamondre Stevenson. That was an opportunistic play that Holcomb saw coming from the snap.

“Just came in and took a shot on the ball,” Holcomb said. “It’s always to get those early. Like Mike Tomlin always says, they come in bunches.”
