The short hit of light rain and mist Portland saw early Sunday is about all the moisture we’ll be seeing for at least the next 3-5 days.

As we begin the fall season at 11:19 a.m. Monday , Portland will see some morning clouds that gradually clear to partly sunny skies. The high will be about average at 76 degrees.

The National Weather Service expects warmer than average temperatures through about Wednesday, similar to what we saw last week. Gusty winds are also likely early this week, especially on Tuesday, along the coast and in the Columbia River Gorge. Those traveling through the gorge should expect winds speeds of 15-20 mph sustained, and gusts up to 30 mph at times.
