A section of the M6 will be closed in both directions for nearly 48 hours this weekend for HS2 works.
The 'M6 south viaduct', which will carry the new high-speed railway over the motorway, near Birmingham Airport and the NEC, is set to be dropped into place.
The motorway will be closed between Junction 4 and Junction 4a during the installation.

To reduce disruption for drivers, HS2 said its twin 320-metre-long viaducts are being assembled to one side and will be slid over the road across a series of weekends.
In June, the first phase of the operation saw the first viaduct – the east deck – slid 119m out over the M6 J4 slip road, adjacent to the motorway.
