A play kitchen for children has been recalled after a toddler became caught on part of it and was strangled to death.
Backyard Kids of Plano, Texas, recalled 192,000 of the KidKraft Farm to Table model play kitchens. The toys were originally manufactured by KidKraft, which filed for bankruptcy in May 2024, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Although 192,000 are recalled, the CPSC said only 400 were sold.
Backyard Kids has agreed to provide replacement hooks for the recalled toys.
