The Toronto Blue Jays have not won the American League East yet, and are trying to do so without Bo Bichette.

Bichette has had a bounce-back season ahead of his free agency, but has been on the injured list since Sept. 9 with a knee sprain. The Blue Jays are running out of time to get him back before the postseason.

The team is not only trying to win the division without one of their best players, but they are also trying to secure a bye to give Bichette even more time to get back. Bichette provided an update on where he stands with his injury.

"Getting better every day," Bichette said per Sportsnet while celebrating his team clinching a postseason berth.
