A woman has shared her 'humiliating' and 'degrading' experience when she was approached by an airline worker over concerns about her attire.

Nikki Osborne, an Australian radio personality, has now spoken out about the incident that occurred in Qantas's Brisbane lounge. The 44 year old was dressed in tailored white shorts, a pink lace bodysuit and a knitted white cardigan for a work trip to the Whitsundays, Australia, when she alleges she was confronted by a lounge employee.

"A staff member hurried up to me, grabbed me by the arm and said: 'Firstly, I'm a long-time fan of yours, but I'll need you to button your cardigan up to cover yourself to protect the other cultures in the lounge," Nikki penned in her QWeekend column.
