A boy has suffered potentially serious injuries following a collision with a bus in the West Midlands.

The collision took place at the junction of New Birmingham Road and City Road in the Tividale area of Oldbury this morning (September 24).

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the scene at 8.24am, sending one ambulance, a MERIT trauma doctor and a critical care paramedic.

Upon arrival, crews found a boy, who was a pedestrian, who had been involved in a collision with a bus.

He was treated for potentially serious injuries before being rushed to Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley .
