Jowita Przystal seemingly dodged any mention of her former Strictly Come Dancing co-star Pete Wicks as she appeared on live TV to chat about her new partnership.

The professional dancer appeared on ITV's Lorraine on Monday morning (September 22) alongside Ross King, as they were revealed as one of the 15 couples set to compete in the BBC One dance show this year.

Over the weekend, Strictly's 23rd series got underway with the pre-recorded launch show, which saw hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman welcome the new crop of celebrity contestants into the famous ballroom for the first time.
