It’s not uncommon for Windows updates to cause problems on your computer. Last week, there were reports that Microsoft had fixed an audio issue in Windows 11 24H2. But now the operating system appears to be having an issue with video playback instead.

In an error status confirmation , Microsoft says that Windows 11 24H2 may have problems playing copyrighted content with DRM protection in digital TV apps, Blu-ray players, and DVD players if you have August’s optional update KB5064081 installed. (The same update that added a bunch of new features and improvements .)
