PHOENIX — It looks like the wheels to bring the NHL back to the Valley are in motion.
On Monday, hockey insider Craig Morgan revealed Andrea Doan, the wife of Arizona Coyotes legend Shane Doan, will be named the chair of an advisory committee hoping to bring hockey back to Phoenix.
The move was made by Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Chair Tom Galvin, who is also a lifelong Coyotes fan. So the new committee is a welcome step forward for Valley hockey fans.
"Andrea Doan is a longstanding supporter of Arizona hockey, and is married to Shane Doan, who was instrumental in building Arizona’s hockey legacy," Galvin said.
