A leisure centre gym has reopened after undergoing a £650,000 transformation. Redcar Leisure Centre gym reopened on Saturday, September 20 and has now extended to 150 stations.

A full refurbishment included the arrival of state-of-the-art Life Fitness equipment and an extended strength and conditioning area, featuring four new racks with lifting platforms. A new recovery area boasting Therabody equipment has been added, while brand new flooring and matting has been installed.

The gym reopened over the weekend after undergoing the transformation, joint-funded by award-winning operator Everyone Active and Redcar and Cleveland Council . The official launch of the new gym will take place on Saturday, September 27, with live DJ Krystal Roxx DJing two Clubbercise sessions.
