The 2025 Ballon d’Or takes center stage on Monday night, with the main prize to be handed out alongside several other awards at a ceremony in Paris.
Ousmane Dembélé and Lamine Yamal are widely regarded as favorites for the men’s award. On the women's side, a Spanish player is expected to win yet again with Mariona Caldentey, Alexia Putellas and two-time defending winner Aitana Bonmatí all in the mix.
Two U.S. women's national team players are also up for the prize, with Lindsey Heaps and Emily Fox named to the 30-player shortlist.
