ORLANDO, Fla. (WESH) - The 32-year-old man who died after riding a roller coaster at Universal Orlando Resort’s newest park is being remembered by his family as loving, thoughtful and loyal.

Kevin Rodriguez Zavala’s family says he was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend. The 32-year-old died from multiple blunt injuries last Wednesday after he rode the Stardust Racers roller coaster at Epic Universe, according to the Orange-Osceola medical examiner.

“His presence lit up every room, and his absence leaves a space no one can fill,” his family wrote on a GoFundMe page set up to help with funeral and memorial expenses.
