ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (WBKO) — Kentucky State Police Post 4 has named Master Trooper Bryan Washer as its new public affairs officer.

Washer, a 15-year veteran of the agency, joined KSP in 2010 and has spent most of his career in Elizabethtown. He served six years as a trooper before becoming a detective in 2016, a role he has held for the past nine years.

He also spent a decade as a collision reconstructionist, investigating fatal crashes across the region.

“I am excited about the opportunity to serve as the Public Affairs Officer for Post 4,” Washer said in a statement. “This is home for me, and I look forward to building relationships and serving the citizens of the eight counties in our post area.”
