PAINTSVILLE - The Pulaski County Maroons sure have been battled-tested through the first four weeks of the 2025 season, with not a single loss on their record to boot. Another top-tier opponent was awaiting them on the road on Friday in the Johnson Central Golden Eagles, and unfortunately they were gashed to the tune of 528 rushing yards in a 50-30 loss.
Johnson Central scored rather quickly in the first quarter on a field goal from Mason Bentley. Following a Zak Anderson pass that was intercepted by Rylan Kelsey, the Eagles scored a touchdown right before the end of the quarter to give the home team a 10-0 lead after one.
