WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The Big E's Big Eats competition crowned its winners for Best Sweet Treat and Best Savory Snack, showcasing the most innovative food creations at the fair.

The Spicy PB&J Vegan Ice Cream Sundae from Soulfully Vegan won the Best Sweet Treat category, while the Deep-Fried Enchilada from Deep Fried Taco took home the Best Savory Snack award. These dishes were selected from a pool of 10 standout entries that competed in the two categories.

"This experience is awesome for us," shared Calvin Vaughn, co-owner of Soulfully Vegan. "We always try to be creative and come up with something new and fun. Everybody loves ice cream, but not everyone can have it. Our vegan sundae gives everyone the chance and the sweet and salty works so well."
