Sunday marked a birthday celebration one Harrison Township man is bound to remember.

A party of about 45 people was gathering in the vestibule of Golden Corral restaurant on Hayes near Hall Road in Clinton Township for his birthday bash to begin when a car smashed into the building.

Witnesses said it appeared the vehicle was in reverse when it slammed into the structure.
