SALINA, Kan. (KAKE) - Salina city commissioners are considering a bid for a new splash pad at Jerry Ivey Memorial Park.

The estimated $710,000 bid for the splash pad would replace a since-demolished one at the park, as KSAL News has reported, was closed in 2024 due to underground plumbing and infrastructure issues. If approved, the splash pad could be installed and opened by next summer.
