A man has been arrested in connection with a deadly stabbing that happened Thursday morning.

According to police, they responded to a call of a suspicious person in the 9000 block of Chef Menteur Highway around 5 a.m.

When they arrived at the scene, they found a man unresponsive inside the residence.

The victim was found to have sustained various injuries, including a reported stab wound, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said that, through further investigation, they were able to locate and detain the suspect in the area.

The suspect was later identified as Loving, and he was found to have sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
