TERREBONNE PARISH, La. (WGNO) — There has been a development in a Terrebonne Parish cold case homicide that happened nine years ago.

Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet announced Monday, Sept. 22 that a third arrest was made in connection to the 2015 murder of Pamela Johnson of Bourg, Louisiana.

The investigation led detectives to identify 40-year-old John Fitzgerald Bonvillain Jr. as a suspect.

Bonvillain, who was already in custody on unrelated charges, was arrested on Sept. 19 and booked on allegations of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.

He is being held without bond.

Soignet says the investigation into the case remains ingoing with the possibility of additional arrests as they continue to pursue leads.
