Raindrops finally returned to the Valley after a 15-day hiatus.

Showers will return to the Valley later Monday afternoon into Monday evening, and a gusty thunderstorm can't be completely ruled out. Showers will increase in coverage Monday evening, overnight into Tuesday morning.

Tuesday morning's commute may feature some fog, which could be locally dense early in the morning.

Showers will remain widespread for a time Tuesday morning, but gradually decrease in coverage throughout the morning and into the afternoon. Tuesday will remain humid with high temperatures falling back to the low 70s.
