A man who the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department had released images of, and asked for the public’s help in finding as the suspect in the killing of a dog during a burglary in West Hollywood, was in custody Monday morning.
Anmol Bhatia, 27, was arrested about 8 p.m. Sunday and was being held without bail, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department online inmate records.
Bhatia had been described as a person of interest by investigators, who had disseminated home security video of a suspect believed to be Bhatia entering the home in the 1200 block of Harper Street around 11:35 p.m. on Sept. 4.
Bhatia’s name and image were shared with the public by investigators.
