MADISONVILLE, Ky. (WFIE) - Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials say CSX Railroad plans to close all four lanes of Center Street in Madisonville at the railroad bridge next to Wendy’s.

According to a press release the closure is expected to be in place from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m., allowing CSX Railroad to conduct maintenance work on their railroad bridge, while keeping motorists safe.

Officials say during the closure, traffic will be detoured to North Main Street, Island Ford Road and Interstate 69.

The closure is set to take place on Wednesday.
