SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - One of the longest-running marching band competitions in the Midwest will play host to three Sioux Falls high school bands.
Sioux Falls Christian, Sioux Falls Lutheran, and O’Gorman High School will participate in the Tri-State Band Festival, with 13 bands joining them this Saturday, Sept. 27, in Luverne, MN.
This will be the 74th annual Tri-State Band Festival, with 12 marching bands performing on the parade route and 8 bands in the field competition.
The three Sioux Falls schools will participate in both the parade and the field competition.
Admission to the field competition is available with the purchase of a Tri-State Band Festival button, which costs $10.
