FARGO — A driver was cited for careless driving after hitting a pedestrian early Monday, Sept. 22, in north Fargo.

The crash happened near Seventh Avenue North and 21st Street, a few blocks east of the Matbus garage.

A WDAY crew on scene saw a man lying in a driveway off the road. First responders took him from the scene in an ambulance. Fargo police said the man was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

The driver, 39-year-old Jesse Schuler, was cited for careless driving.
